Mel's Weekly Challenge #9

Hi everyone, this week Mel's challenge was to make a card using Designer Series Paper, DSP. She made this challenge an easy one for people like me who can't read instructions properly. grin Sorry Mel.

On the weekend I found a pictorial for this cute little box, so I had to make one to match the card. More about the box in the next post.

It was so hard to pick which DSP to use because there all so gorgeous. In the end I went with Petals & Paisleys. I've used just one piece of DSP as the background. Added some ribbon, the large flower from the pretties kit, an old olive felt flower with a button. Stamped the greeting onto the round tab punch and added a strip of DSP. So very easy.

On the inside I stamped the rest of the greeting, Polka Dots & Paisley Stamp Set and added a strip of DSP punched with the scallop edge punch. Why not dress up the inside as well.

Isn't this little box so cute! And very easy to make too. Just the right size for a bracelet or necklace. It will be a perfect gift for one of my nieces.

If you want to have a go a Mel's challenge you've still got one more day, check out the guidelines at Mel's Stamping Haven.
