Card Patterns

Hi, I needed to make a birthday card for a friend, her birthday was last week so I'm doing well. I used this weeks sketch from Card Patterns Sketch 157 , turned sideways. I hope she likes it, now I just have to get it over to her.

I really enjoyed this weeks challenge over at Sunny Challenges & Creations. With a great sketch to follow with the added challenge of using the Chalkboard technique. I hadn't used this technique for quite awhile so it was good to play along.

Chalkboard technique - Stamp on dark coloured card with white chalk ink, I used Stampin' Up!'s Craft Whisper White ink (works really well). Then carefully apply Stampin' Pastels with a dauber.

I have used the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Fresh Vintage with  the Everyday Enchantment DSP and brad. Colours are Early Espresso, Poppy Parade and Very Vanilla. Also used my new toy  the Bigz Die Two Tags, love it.
